Notices Regarding Thesis and Oral Defense for the Executive MBA in Global Business Innovation and Management (International Program):

Application for Thesis Advisor  

Submit the application before the end of the second semester of enrollment, and present proof of completion of the Academic Research Ethics Education Course.

Article 5 Thesis Writing
2.  Graduate students, with the consent of their proposed advisor, write a thesis proposal, submit it to the College Academic Committee for review and the Office of Academic Affairs for reference, and then the advisor organizes a Thesis Proposal Guidance Committee to review the thesis proposal. The research direction of the thesis shall mainly focus on the research fields of this College.
3.  The Thesis Proposal Guidance Committee shall consist of 3 or more members (including the advisor). Only after the proposal is approved can the student proceed with writing the degree thesis.

Oral Defense Application  

Please fill out the following forms according to the schedule and submit them to the College Office.

Day of Oral Defense

※Graduate students studying for doctoral or master's degrees should submit the Thesis Draft and Originality Comparison Result Report to the Degree Examination Committee members for reference before the degree examination.

End of Oral Defense

Please fill out Oral Defense-5-Thesis Revision Explanation according to the advisor's suggestions before proceeding with the school leaving procedures.

School Leaving Procedures must be completed by the end of February (for 1st semester defense) / end of August (for 2nd semester defense). Please refer to Graduate Student School Leaving Procedure Sheet.

 

Thesis Printing and Formatting Regulations

The deadline for the final thesis submission is 1/20 or 8/20 (subject to the notification of the current semester). A total of 4 paperbacks + 1 hardcover copy must be submitted to the school.

Please upload the Thesis Electronic File (Thesis Interior Pages, including "3.Academic Ethics Statement") to NTUB Electronic Theses & Dissertations System.

(Username: Student ID; Password: Last 4 digits of ID card or Student ID) 

For relevant regulations, please refer to Library Thesis Upload FAQ .

After Library approval,please print 1 copy of the thesis in "Light Blue Glossy Paperback" for the advisor, and 1 copy for the College Office, totaling 2 paperbacks; for other regulations, please refer to the Library's regulations in the "School Leaving Procedure Sheet" (basically 2 paperbacks + 1 hardcover).

Upload the thesis to NTUB Electronic Theses & Dissertations System
(For library upload instructions, please refer to Library Thesis Upload FAQ; relevant regulations are based on Library announcements.)
For the full text file of the thesis to be uploaded, please DO NOT add the school watermark or security settings in advance. Just convert it to PDF and upload. After receiving the approval email, log in to the system to print the authorization form and download the full text file with the added watermark (automatically set by the system) for printing and binding.

Format according to 2_1-Thesis Cover, Spine . The Cover Page has NO watermark. Save as PDF in the format "Thesis Cover-Name"and send back (Click to DownloadWord  ODT). For "Cover Date", please fill in the Thesis Printing Month; for "Spine Date", please fill in the Academic Year of the Oral Defense.

Note 1: The format of Thesis Cover in 2-Thesis Formatting Guidelines and 2_1-Thesis Cover, Spine is the same. This file is required for both [Thesis Interior Pages] and [Thesis Cover, Spine] files.
